The Proposal

Jon proposed on December 24, 2008.  We had just come back from a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner with Jon's family.  The whole walk home, I pestered Jon about when we could open our Christmas presents.  When we got back to the apartment, Jon asked me if I was really serious about wanting to open presents then. I said of course! Jon finally agreed and told me my presents were under our christmas tree, so I quickly grabbed the first present I saw. I opened it up and he got me Season 4 of Lost, which is my favorite television show. Then, he told me I still had another present under the tree. I searched all over and didn't see anything, so I turned and told him that unless he hid it in the tree, there was nothing else there. He then told me I should look in the tree, but I looked and didn't see anything. Jon then laughed and surprised me by pulling an absolutely beautiful ring off one of the tree branches. He then proposed and I said yes!
